I know it depends on the person but who has taken it and feels they wasted time or didn't give themselves enough time? I don't want to wait too long as they say the longer you wait the worse you do so I scheduled it right way while I know of people who have waited a month or more. I do not want to procrastinate- but I don't want to jump the gun either...TIA

I feel the same as you. I'm the type of person that just want to get it over with while the info. is still fresh in my mind. However , it also depends on my funds and if I'll have enough money to take the nclex. My preference is to take it a week after the exit exam or before pinning. Another factor is my wedding which is a week after my pinning. SO many decisions. What to do? What to do?

MY SISTER GRADUATED NURSING SCHOOL ON DECEMBER 15, 2008 AND TOOK HER NCLEX DECEMBER 17, 2008 (AND PASSED:yeah:) YAY HER!!!!!!. I DID NOT THINK IT WAS POSSIBLE TO DO IT THAT QUICK SEEING THAT PAPERWORKS HAVE TO BE SUBMITTED BY YOUR SCHOOL. BUT SHE DID...
OUR INSTRUCTORS ALWAYS ADVISES US TO DO IT ASAP DO NOT WAIT TOO LONG. HOWEVER THEY ALSO SAID IF U ARE THE TYPE OF STUDENT THAT IS ALWAYS SCRAPING BY WITH THE MINIMUM GRADE THEN YOU SHOULD DO SOME STUDY AND REVIEWING OR EVEN TAKE A REFRESHER COURSE BEFORE TESTING.
THEN AGAIN JUST REMEMBER THAT EVERYTHING IS INDIVIDUALIZED

I graduated Marc 9, applied March 12, received ATT March 23, took test March 27 and passed! It varies on how quickly you receive your ATT, but it only took 2-3 weeks for everyone I know who graduated with me!
