NCLEX-PN in 6 days!!!!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

hello!!!! so in 6 days i'll be taking my nclex-pn (1st time)! I'm freaking out because i don't feel prepared enough.... then again, who does?! I graduated July and I've been studying since mid- July. I study Mon-Fri for about 3-4 hrs a day. I do Saunders questions (50-100), reviewed my labs, read over diseases i forgot about, and I PRAY! I feel my teacher prepared us enough to NOT fail, but she did freak us out about the nclex being hard or whatnot. What makes me feel a bit comfortable is that 1. I got a 98% chance on passing on 1st attempt, according to my last ATI and 2. I know i'm not dumb, lol. :::sighs::: At this point I just want to take that exam and get it over with. Anyone else felt mentally exhausted from so much studying? TIPS, ADVICE, PRAYER would be awesome! :)

Where did you go to school? I was pinned July 31 and took NCLEX yesterday. Compared to our exams in school it wasn't bad at all. Few things I haven't heard of but with how I was taught I knew how to answer. :) good luck. I didn't study at all besides a few ati questions. Cut off at 85 and pvt won't let me re register

heyhey! I'm sure you passed. You seem calm and confident. I went to Miami Lakes Educational Center (Miami, FL). I was pinned Aug 1st.... and testing Aug 27 (eeek!!!). I did good on all my tests (85% or higher)... and I passed all my ATIs with the highest scores. I just felt the ATIs were kind of tricky at times. Ay, well I'm PRAYING that I get through it!!! KEEP ME POSTED!!! CONGRATS, AGAIN... IN ADVANCE! :D

Just try to relax. You got this! I felt the same way at first then I had to just calm myself down and tell myself that the NCLEX is just another test like all the numerous tests my school gave us!! I graduated August 2nd and just took the NCLEX last week on the 15th. I passed with 85 questions. I really only studied for two weeks prior to taking it. I did the green Saunders book, NCLEX PN 3000, exam cram questions and i partially read the Kaplan strategies book. Oh I did review the study guide that someone here on AN was nice enough to share. I did that the day before and right before walking into the testing center. At this point, just do questions and review all the rationales. You've been studying since mid July so you should be fine. And yes, you must keep praying.

But just the NCLEX like any other school exam. When I started answering the questions, to me they were not any more difficult than the questions I was used to seeing on my school exams. That allowed me to calm down and just answer teheran questions with little to no anxiety at all.

BREATHE!!!!!! You got this!!! Keep us posted :-)

Be blessed!

I meant to say "treat the NCLEX like any other school exam".
