Hello to all I'm new to this site and was hoping someone could advise me. I took the Nclex-pn 3 weeks ago, on Aug 1st. I still havent received my results in the mail yet. Does anyone know how long it can take and what the envelope will look like, thick or thin, if I pass or fail. The wait is making me absolutely crazy I know the amount of questions is no indicator of whether I passed, so I am totally clueless. My husband is very insensitive to this subject, he keeps saying, "its just a test, whats the big deal" but to me it is a big deal, it the start to the rest of my life, and I worked hard for it.
I took my nclex exam on aug 5th and I havent heard anything as well. I took it in Anaheim California. It will be 3 weeks this friday. Now last friday I was sent a brochure on Nclex Seminars that will take place in a month or so, so that tells me I didnt pass. I feel really bad inside. If you havent received a brochure most likely you passed. I just dont think it's right that a brochure will show up before the actual results from the boards. I have been sick inside. Good Luck!

I too received that brochure. My daughter called me on the phone and said "there is an envelope that says Nclex on it". Got my hopes up just to come home and find it was for a seminar. Tore it up and threw it away. Figured that I should know if I failed before they do. It did nothing for my morale and patience.
Yes it was a brochure from a outside company by the name of California School of Health Sciences. The website address is http://www.hprovider.com I called and ask them the question of where did they get my name and address from because I never signed up and the lady told me they get of list of names from the LVN and RN boards. Thats all she would say. I think that this not a good way of finding out results. This is confirmation that I didnt pass. Thank you Suzanne
I got one today, too. That is not from the state board of nursing in sacramento. Your board results if you passed, will come in a #10 business sized envelope with white, blue and yellow papers in it telling you how to get your license and rules on reporting abuse. In the return corner it will say California State Board of Nursing. Don't be fooled, it is not your results. I passed my boards with confirmation last week and got that brochure today.
Thank you all for reinforcing what I have been saying all along. That company is just buying your name from the BON, nothing more. They do not have any information as to whether you passed or did not pass.
The same thing happened to me. I received the same brochures before I found out I had passed. I am still getting this "junk" and its been several weeks. Dont feel bad, I too thought they knew I failed and I actually passed!Keep your hopes up.
I PASSED!!!!!!! , the brochures were just bad timing and as everyone else has already said, they dont mean a thing. Its already nerve wrecking waiting sooooo long for the test results, but then to receive mail like that, well, its enough to bring on a nervous breakdown.

I FOUND OUT TODAY THAT I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE FOR THEIR SUPPORT. THE BROCHURES DID NOT MEAN ANYTHING. I STILL DONT AGREE WITH THE BROCHURES BEING SENT TO YOU RIGHT AFTER YOU TAKE THE BOARDS. I PASSED AND I AM SO THANKFUL. THANK GOD, BECAUSE I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST JESUS WHO STRENGTHENS ME.
