Update: took test 9/21 and got my results today, I passed and the pearson vue trick worked for me. Unfortunately my file is in enforcement for an old traffic ticket so I don't know when I'll be able to get my license
Congrats!!!!! Go pay that ticket and tell them to hand you your license! So happy for you!
Took my NCLEX-PN on 10/1/15. Took exactly 3 weeks for me to receive. I live in San Bernardino county, CA. I PASSED! Amen! 205 questions, sweating bullets, and anxiety was all worth the wait. my life has changed from this moment on!!!PVT worked for me as well. But, I just wanted to feel official and didn't want to get ahead of myself, 'til I received my actual letter!
Best of luck to the rest of you as I know Cali takes forever at times. that's probably the worst part of all this. I'm thankful for this forum too. As it kept me updated on a daily basis, and know some are now anticipating their results any day now just like I was...:)
for the ones who don't or didn't pass: some words of encouragement-
do not give up! I had to retake a course while the rest of my cohort/term left me behind during nursing school, I had to take extended time in school for an extra 3 months. I had a hard time during this period as I took a very accelerated course full time ( I'm the type that needs to understand concepts/details thoroughly in order to move forward). I quickly forgot about what I didn't get to pass and focused on the chances that were awaiting for me. so with repeated hard work, keeping faith, hope, prayer and motivation, passed my cohort quite successfully 2nd time, passed exit hesi first try, and finally after 5 months after graduating (due to finances) I finally passed :) happy endings are wonderful! do not give up guys/girls! if I can do it...then you can too for sure!
chin up buttercup. believe in yourself.
Congrats!
I am so happy for everyone that passed! I just took my NCLEX-PN yesterday, had the minimum amount of questions (85) and am now freaking out. I live in Detroit, MI...so I am going to do the quick results tomorrow. This is a lot of pressure, because you really do not know how you did. My husband and parents asked me how I did, and I said "I really can't gauge how I did AT ALL". We will see tomorrow.
Hi everyone! I have followed all nurses for years now but finally decided to join. This thread has given me something to focus on. I took nclex pn 10/8/15 in CA. An old instructor did PVT for me and got the good pop up (whether it is true or not has brought my anxiety level down), but it won't be real for me untill I get that official paper. Based on others I'm expecting to get my results any day now. I've been watching the mailbox like a hawk lol
