NCLEX, Pearson VUE Trick 2018 Pennsylvania

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hey Everybody,

I sat for my NCLEX on Tuesday Jan 16th, 2018 at 2:00pmEST in Pennsylvania. For 47 hours, (none of which included good sleep), I panicked and tried to remember NCLEX questions and my answers. My exam stopped at 77 questions. #76 was a SATA and #77 was a 'place in order'. I was certain that I had answered both incorrectly and that was the reason the exam cut off at 77 questions. After about 23 very restless anxiety ridden hours, I tried the PVT. I went all the way up to page where it asks for credit card information, and submitted my credit card with a false expiration date. My card expired 2/19 so I put 1/19 in the box. The response read, "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time". That gave me a little bit of hope, but I still continued to check for my license on the Bad Request page. In the 47th hour, my results were FINALLY available to view in quick results. Thankfully they say I passed. FYI, I graduated in May 2017 but due to PTSD from being a full time working mom of 3 and wife wife in nursing school I opted to wait to take my test. I studied using ATI, UWorld and some random NCLEX review books. I probably did about 2000 questions over the past 3 weeks, carefully reading rationales. I also memorized the lab values for things like Potassium and HgB, etc. So while I can't tell you not to panic after you take the exam, I can tell you that the PVT worked for me in 2018. I just wanted to give everybody that comes after me an update. Good luck to everyone.

Just got the same "good popup" but am still waiting on results!

Congrats to all who passed. Still waiting for my result since CA don't participate in Quick Result. It's been almost a week now. I did the PVT trick and got the good pop up! I don't know ... it calm me a little bit but I'm still paranoid about my Result. Anyone tell me I shouldn't worried bec. Good pop up means I passed ?

Congrats! I'm in Illinois and I finished the PN at 12 and tried the pvt at 2 and got the good pop up, I'm not sure if I did it too soon though
