Hello from israel :)
My name is Yana and i've written here before..
I'm trying to figgur out what type of study method is best suitable for me and so i have a question for all the NCLEX students..
What is the BEST review book, flashcards, question book available out there?
I've read that this one is OK...what do you think?:
http://www.mo-media.com/nclex/
If you have other suggestions, i will be happy to read them :)
Thank you and happy holidays (Easter and Passover) :):):):)

i plan on working full time (5 times a weeks. 8 hour shifts) and i have no children nor a husband.

The person who is in the best position to determine what is best to use for study for you is you. We don't know your current level of preparation, your study habits, or how you best learn. You need to do a little investigation of study resources on your own and pick out a resource that looks good to you, then go with it. Make your appointment date giving yourself enough time to prepare, then get started. Most people take from three weeks to three months to prepare. Many report they are successful using the Saunders Comprehensive Review, the Linda LaCharity book on Prioritization, and the Kaplan review for test taking strategies. Best to do as many questions as possible and study the rationales. Relax and practice your relaxation techniques the day before the exam. Best wishes for a successful test.
Thank you very much

hello
i've used saunders 4th edition but i focused on the cd..maybe i only read few chapters in that book because
i thought that i am running out of time..
do at least 75-100 questions a day for 3 months and had 2 weeks off work before the test just
to be in bedroom to read more questions and shopping when i feel like my sanity is going..
you need to relax as well..
focus on prioritization please and read every rationale even ur answer is correct
i passed after completing 265 questions:yeah: you can do it as well just devote time to read at least 5 dats a week.
i have 3 children and working full time as well
Thank you for the answer, you really got my hope up :)

and it's only you who will only knew if your ready taking the test..I'm also working but i took a leave for 3 weeks just to attend review class (October), thought i was ready (coz i tried self review) but during the review i realized that im not.. i dont know when to schedule my exam but upon knowing that a new stye will come out in April i immediate sked my test (March 30)..I arrived home at 9pm from worked but i never permit myself to sleep without answering at least 100-150questions. On the day of the test im so confident answering the questions, stopped at 85 and 100% sure that i answered the last Q correctly. What's catchy here was that the computer asked me to took a break at q84, i went to the restroom, afterwhich, ready to answer the next Questions coz i've set my mind that if i wont stop at 75 it'll be at 265. It took me minutes answering Q85 and never thought that it would be the last question. The feeling was so refreshing while going out of the room and very confident that i will pass, though im afraid of my feelings coz some says that if you find it easy you fail.. When i got home it took me 4 hours before courageously tried the pvt, i prayed before i started and continue praying while doing the trick. Thanks God i got a good pop-up and was able to sleep well. The next day while at my work, i tried to open my acct in VT BON, there, i saw my name with RN on it and license number and there i knew that i passed officialy..i phoned my sis and told the good news in which my sister passed the news to my family.. Thanks God, Thanks everyone..
