nclex in nov forgot alot of stuff

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I will be taking nclex nov.20 my problem is I forgot alot of things since I been out of school. I have been doing 100+ questions a day. I have read exam cram Im doing lippincott practice questions along with delegation prioritization book and pearson comprehensive review questions as well but im not scoring high enough. Anyone who took nclex recently or whenever how was the test? what type of questions were mostly asked? Did you take a review class or online review? If in CA how long did it take for results to come back? What did you use to study? Also any advice is appreciated.

I'm from CA and took the NCLEX on 9/4. It was the hardest exam I've ever taken in my life even though I utilized all the resources I had. I used ATI (provided by my school), NCSBN (also provided by my school), the NCLEX mastery app (on my iPhone), Kaplan book and Saunders. I did practice questions every day for 2 months until my exam. I studied for 4-6hrs. every day. Study as much as you can and do as much questions as you can. Focus on what you're having difficulty with. Best of luck to you!

Get Kaplan, hurst or ati. Keep taking practice questions, they will improve its just slow going. PM me your email I have a great 35 pg study guide I can email you.

I'm in CA, I took my test on a tuesday, classmate tested the next day wednesday. She posted on breeze friday morning, I posted the next wednesday so the window is huge. Not surprising as the BRN is bananas

How was ati do u recommend

We used ATI at school and while I was in school, I thought it was a drag. It wasn't until after I completed the program that I really appreciated it. My school enrolled us in Virtual ATI and we each had an individual "Coach" who guided us throughout the program. I thought it was very helpful because it gave me a chance to review topics I was having difficulty with, as well as take practice exams.

I liked kaplan much better than ATI.

I agree and my only resource was Kaplan after one week of watching Hurst videos. Just to brush up. BTW I graduated 6 years ago

It's been 3 years since I graduated and failed 2. Haven't tested in over a year. Where do you think I should start ? Kaplan? Or http://ddnclexreview.com/about

You can start with Kaplan comprehensive review. Take type time reviewing the videos and then take that online class and carry on your qbank after that. A lot depends on your personal circumstances. If you need my help pm me and we can talk

I pm you. Thanks :)
