Moved to the international forum as nothing to do with working in the Philippines
You do realise if you plan on endorsing to Texas you may still have the same requirements to meet.
A week really isn't that long to expect a response
thanks silverdragon,
yah, till now i waiting for their relpy,i think i should call the BON NEVADA.
Regardless with the TEXAS BOARD OF nursing. Theres a lot or requirements that i need to comply like, i need to take & pass the Nursing Jurisfrudence exam.and
1.)All international applicants must provide proof of working in nursing for a period totaling two (2) years (i.e. 24 months) at anytime after graduation from a nursing program.
2.)If you have not worked at least two (2) years as a first level, general nurse within the four (4) years preceding the filing of the application, you will not be licensed until you complete a Foreign Educated Nurse (FENS) refresher course consisting of 120 hours of classroom instruction and 120 hours of clinical practice under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The applicant required to take the FENS refresher will be given a six (6) month permit to complete the refresher course.
Since, i don't have this! i tried to apply in another states..

Hi xaxa14! How's your application so far? My application here in Cali was denied and I'm also planning to apply in Nevada. Can I have your e-mail address? I really need your help! Thank you so much!

May I have your email address too? My daughter just graduated last Mar. 2012 and I heard about CA BON has been denying a lot of applications and I thought of checking out Nevada.
Thanks

Hey there,
There are other requirements in Nevada also.
1.The application a long with the fingerprints
2. English Proficiency Exam from either TOEFL or IELTS
3. CGFNS CES application. You will have to order a credential evaluation service. You have to send the request forms to your school. They will fill up the needed information needed and license verification form if you have a license in the Philippines. If not they will use your Diploma. This process may take up to 3 months depending how fast the mail will be.
If you guys have further questions the Nursing Board of Nevada's website has a lot of information.
Good luck on the application!

hi! i'm planning to take nclex in nevada but it has many things to accomplish.. I'm also a registered nurse in philippines.. where do i have to send the request for validation of license/ registration/ diploma? in my school or in PRC (Professional Regulation Commisson).. tnx
hi miley24,
Nevada Board of Nursing has CGFNS CES to evaluate all of your license, transcripts and diploma. You have to order a CGFNS CES. Once you do that you have to print out 2 forms. 1. Request for Transcripts, 2. Request for license verification/diploma. The request for transcripts form will be mailed to the school you graduated in. I'm not sure about the request for the license verification but I think you have to mail it to the PRC. I sent both forms to my school since I didn't have a local license in the PI. So instead the school is providing them my diploma, proof that I graduated.
Once all of your request forms are done the School will send them directly to CGFNS and they will evaluate your credentials. They will then send your evaluation to the Nevada Board of Nursing. Hope that helps!
For further information on the CGFNS go to their website.
Aside from CGFNS you have to pass an English Proficiency Exam by either TOEFL or IELTS.
Good luck to you all.
