Hi all!

Just seeing if there are any March 2012 NCLEX takers out there! I have been studing so hard for the past 2 months and finally got my ATT from my school, so I am registered to take my test the first week in March! I am so excited and nervous about taking it... excited about *hopefully* passing and nervous about the whole testing process! I am just ready for this to be over with so I can move on with my life and start my nursing career! What have you guys been studying? Any former NCLEX takers wanna give any insight? All replies are appreciated! Good luck to everyone!:nurse:

Hi everyone! I will be taking the RN exam in two days. March 1. first day of the week, first day of the month.... first time taker and hopefully first time passing! lol Today I finished Kaplan trainers and qbanks. WHOOHOOOOO! lol It's amazing how much reading content can boost your scores up. My scores reflected as if a different person was taking them. lol I read the Kaplan book twice and this ati book on everything but medsurg. I was trying to focus on OB and peds cuz theyre my weakness. I also had feuer content recordings on medsurg, peds, psych, and maternity. They were pretty funny except the medsurg part cuz it was so long and tedious that I fell asleep so many times... (also same for kaplan content review). I also tried to do saunders and found them to be much easier than kaplan. I think theyre better only for reviewing content. I took some SATA questions on another saunder book with a bunch of sata questions. So tomorrow I think I'm just going to try reviewing like lab values, immunization stuff... also I will be reviewing this 35 pages sheet I found here. There is also a 300 something pages of really good reviews but it was so overwhelming to read, but I noticed that it has mostly rationales from kaplan qbanks and trainers.... Anyways I hope everyone is studying well! :D

P.S. I love fish! lol My bf is also feeding me yogurt, chocolates, and nuts. lol They feed my brain.

God bless you on your exam. :) Keep us posted. You can do this!

Avacadoloveer- good luck to you tomorrow! I will say a prayer for you! Let us know how it goes! Do you mind sharing the 300 page study guide that you know of?

Hi did you get the 300 page study guide

Hi guys. Finished my exam and got the good pop up! :) I had 75 questions, lots of priority and safety, lots of meds, and over 15 sata. No math. MAN I wanted math but from what I heard its good you dont have math. Every single question I had were so hard. I left the place feeling very numb cuz I was guessing almost every questions. Then I read a lot of peoples post that its ok to feel like crap. lol ANyways here is the review Random facts

Good luck to you all. Kaplan only helped me with five questions. I didnt even use decision tree but I did use ABC A LOT!

wew congrats RN..i also didn't use decision tree..coz i know that i have my own strategy in doing it..ABC really helps but in my exam last FEB .. i can't apply ABC lol.. coz all of it are diff. kinds of priority.. ahaha but MASLOW helped me to prioritize things......

I believe that the key in passing NCLEX is to know your content... set your review CD and practice tons of questions remembering to read the rationales even you got it right..if you read thousands of rationales ,the tendency in the exam you can easily cancel the wrong choice little by little and you'll be surprised that there's only one choice left and that's the CORRECT answer

"Know your content more ,so that you can cancel wrong choices more"

Good luck future nclex takers... i wish this advice helps..

:lol2: Aloha from hawaii...

Yea I didnt know a lot of the topic of the questions but I was able to cancel a lot based on my knowledge. Anyways does that trick really work? I dont wanna rely on it 100% until its official. lol

it really works..... i'll sell my soul to the devil if it didn't hahahaha
