NCLEX Last Question

I took the NCLEX on Monday 1/28. I got to about 160 when the computer shut off and I know I answered the last question correctly before it shut off. I hear so many things regarding this matter, but if anyone knows the answer please let me know!

IS IT TRUE THAT IF YOU ANSWER THE LAST QUESTION CORRECTLY BEFORE IT SHUTS OFF THAT YOU PASSED? CAN IT STILL FAIL YOU IF YOU ANSWERED IT CORRECTLY?

I'm going crazy with this waiting game! I am supposed to start my job on monday and I have a feeling I didnt pass and am going to lose my job. I dont understand why it would fail me if I answered the last question correct, although ive been hearing it doesnt matter by some ppl. HELP!!!!!!!!:o

The same thing happened to me. I took it yesterday and it shut off at 132 questions. I know I got the last one right. I can't believe that at that number that I would have failed if I got the last question right. I could see if it was at 75. I feel your pain. I'll find out tomorrow for sure. Good Luck!!

Just to clear up a few things for you:

Number of questions that one receives has no bearing on the results.

Getting the last question correct or incorrect has no bearing on this as well.

i have just finished my test..it took me forever.. 4hrs.. 20 sata ..lots of phama and priopiritazion.im freakin out.. :( the computer stoped at around 160-165..i was waiting for it to stop at 75..but then it didnt..the waiting for it to stop at 100 then continued..then hoped it would stop at 150 but yet..i didnt so i didnt bother lookong at the # bcoz knew i was going for 265..but it stopped at 160 plus...i hope i passed.plz pray for me :C

i thought is was very tough!!! i had like 40-50 med questions!!!! 40 select all that apply!!! i had all the questions. what did you think?

did you try doing the pvt? i did and had a good pop up..but i dont wnt to rely on that alone..

yeah I got a good pop up too...still won't know till 1100 central time today
