I took the NCLEX on Monday 1/28. I got to about 160 when the computer shut off and I know I answered the last question correctly before it shut off. I hear so many things regarding this matter, but if anyone knows the answer please let me know!
IS IT TRUE THAT IF YOU ANSWER THE LAST QUESTION CORRECTLY BEFORE IT SHUTS OFF THAT YOU PASSED? CAN IT STILL FAIL YOU IF YOU ANSWERED IT CORRECTLY?
I'm going crazy with this waiting game! I am supposed to start my job on monday and I have a feeling I didnt pass and am going to lose my job. I dont understand why it would fail me if I answered the last question correct, although ive been hearing it doesnt matter by some ppl. HELP!!!!!!!!
yeah I got a good pop up too...still won't know till 1100 central time today
some have said that its a 100% sure if you get a good pop upand it means you pass.. but ofcourse we dont want to rely on this alone..the waiting is killing me..i need to get my result ASAp.. i hope we both pass.. its suck bcoz i'm herei CA and it takes forever.but my brother..saw his name in the BON before he even got the letter.and my brother.friends tried the pvt nd worked for them.some tried it and went all the way to the cc page and failed..i hope this helps relieve our anxiety.. wishing the best for the both of us!
:yeah:I did do the PVT and had "good pop ups".......and I PASSED!!!!!! I took my RN boards 5-3-2010 for the second time and got my results today. For anyone trying to pass the NCLEX....I failed my first time.... I do suggest doing the "live" online Kaplan prep coorifice. I am an individual that has to have a teacher to ask questions. They really help you prepare for the test and teach you how to answer the questions and signs of things to look out for. I took the class last the week (4-24 thru 4-29) before my boards that way the information was still in my head. The class was for days. You can do the class several different ways. Kaplan is pretty accomidating. For anyone who is out there that failed.....I just want you to know there is LIGHT at the end of the tunnel.
I had a good PVT popup too and ended up passing. I shut off at 75 questions. I didn't see any particular pattern with my test. Mine jumped from a delegation, to neuro, or a med, to cardiac. I had only 2 check all that apply q & they were vastly different topics. I didn't have any "hot spot" questions, some of my friends had those & a few others had some audio lung & heart. I'm in a quick result state thankfully so my misery only lasted 24 hours.
