NCLEX kept going AFTER the extra research questions?

My exam shut off at 75 questions and then went to the extra research questions, which I expected. However once those were finished, the exam kept going?? Except an “end exam” button appeared on the bottom corner, which wasn’t there before. I was confused so I asked the proctor, to which she said that I could click that and end my exam. 

 

I am extremely confused and wondering if this has happened to anyone?!

Why? You’re done. How they trial extra items changes all the time. If they aren’t required, you’ve done your duty to assist future testing. Relax, and congratulations.
