I took my NCLEX exam today (June 19, 2018 at 8am). I had 94 q's, a lot of SATA and Leadership q's. After receiving my email saying I completed the exam (about 30 mins later), I did the PVT trick. I got the "good pop up" but I'm so nervous! Will update when I get my quick results.
Hello Cn_2bRN919,Thank you for your input I really appreciate it!! Did u think uworld was similar to Nclex? I've been hearing that uworld is supposed to be harder then nclex. I've been practicing 50 to 75 questions a day. I'm so nervous..
Hello! I took the exam today and got the good pop up. Uworld is harder than the actual nclex in my opinion. It really did prepare me a lot for the exam. I also suggest you read La Charity's prioritization and delagation. My exam ended at 77 questions with the last question as SATA. I got mostly SATA and prioritization and ECG's.
Omg thank you so much! I feel a little better now about the exam but I'm still little nervous lol. I actually have that book La Charity. I read about 5 chapters but I will start reading the book again, Thanks for the info and you did a really good job on the nclex exam , I hope I stop rigt around there as well, and congrats I know you passed!
Laylay412, I definitely think UWorld is a great prep tool for the NCLEX! I completed most of the questions. I had about 250 left by the morning of my exam. My overall average was a 64% and I was in the 89th percentile. I think that any program that offers you the opportunity to do NCLEX style practice questions is beneficial! The NCLEX could ask you about anything! There were definitely topics on there I didn't cover in school or while studying. At that point it's using test taking strategies to narrow down your choices and hopefully choose the correct answer. Practicing questions online help you to get used questions are going to be asked and what parts of the question you need to be paying attention to.
Hello Idiosyncratic,Congrats on passing the nclex, I hope to pass the nclex next month. Im currently using uworld so did you think that it helped u prepare for the SATA questions on the nclex? Thank you.
I used UWORLD more than anything else and found it more useful than anything else. :)
I took my exam yesterday! Mine turned off at 75 questions, a lot of select all that applied but I never thought any questions were horribly hard. I studied through ATI Nursing since our school recommended it. I had a 97% chance of passing after completing their comprehensive reviews. At first I walked out feeling really confident and happy!
Then I started checking my BoN to see if my license number was up yet. My friend who tested the same time I did had her license go live by 5pm, but mine hadn't. Mine is still not showing up this morning either. Freaking out, thinking I must have failed, I searched and searched and read about the Pearson Vue trick. I tried it and got the "good" pop-up.
I read more and discovered that sometimes it takes days for the state to actually recognize your license. I'm a hot mess over here until 06/22 @ 9am when I find out my results.
FLnurse'18, you have to register as if you're registering for the exam for the first time. You input your nursing program, then your credit card information, and then submit the order at the very end. You put in the correct card information with the exception of the expiration date. I put in everything correctly except the expiration and got a pop up once I hit submit. I received a good pop up within a couple of hours of taking my exam. I took the exam Monday morning. I found out that I passed Wednesday morning.
I just took my NCLEX today!
I just graduated on May 14 and was so excited to get a date to test so soon. As I pulled up to the testing center today my heart dropped. I was schedule for 2pm but they let me come in at 12:30. I felt that the exam was very difficult. I had 109 questions, many sata/sequence of events/prioritization.. I am freaking out and have been making myself crazy looking on google all day for answers. I tried the Pearson Vue trick and got the "good pop up" which was slightly reassuring but I don't want to get my hopes up until I see my license number on the BON site or my quick results. This is the worst wait of my life
Hi! I tried the Pearson Vue trick. Took my exam today at 12:30 and finished around 3 at 109 questions. I was scared to death to try the trick but I did and got the good pop up. You sign in to the website and go on as if you're registering for nclex. Proceed to the payment screen and put in your card info. Change the exp date / cvc number. If it tries to process the payment and says invalid card, they say that means you failed. If you hit submit payment and get a screen saying "you have already registered for this exam. It cannot be done at this time blah blah" that means you passed. Good luck!!

Hi I would just like to say I took NCLEX in June 2018. My test shut off at 79 questions and despite the (what I thought) hard questions, select-alls, and ordering, I felt cautiously confident that I'd passed. I was eager for my results and I decided to check out the Pearson Vue trick. Much to my dismay, I DID NOT GET A POP-UP. I spent the next two days crying and sick to my stomach at the thought of taking it again. I just want future test-takers to know that while the trick may work for some, IT DID NOT WORK FOR ME, I PASSED!!!!! Just thought I'd share my experience.
my advice: wait the two days and pay the $8 for unofficial quick results and save yourself the agony!!!
