the anxiety pre and post test is almost the same. sometimes the anxiety of waiting is the one that is worst. whether you pass or.... u have done your best.and needs to be congratulated.
u need to take a deep breath and relax. enjoy whilst you wait.
good luck and believe u already is a Nurse. wtg.

Hello,
I have been reading the discussions, not posting a lot, but do appreciate everyone's advice.
I took my first NCLEX yesterday, and have been crying all day today. I just know I failed. I have looked up about 20 questions, and I missed them all. I know some of them can be pilot questions, but what if there were all 'real' questions? I felt good about five, I repeat, FIVE answers.... I just hope that the five I felt good about were not pilot questions.
I find out my results tomorrow - I hope. I already have a job, and if I don't pass, I lose it - it was a very competitive job to get, a lot of applicants, and I thought I was so lucky to get it.. now it may be slipping through my fingers!
Any advise on statistics of how many passed/failed with only 75 questions?
(I know it may not make a difference, but I am freaking out here). The questions were all hard for me, with the exception of a handful of easy ones.. it could be because I was nervous or not prepared, but I took Kaplan and scored high, my exit hesi was a high score, and my nursing GPA was a 3.7.
Thanks,
Stefanie:crying2:
