Hello everyone and Happy Holidays. I am freaking out a little bit here in California. I took the NCLEX on 12/17/08 and my exam stopped @ 75. I have been monitoring the license verification on the Calif BRN web site and so far no info. I am just starting to freakout so any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Holly

Well I hope you the best..I took mine on the 16th too, so I am very tense too. At least you can use the quick view, I cannot as I took the PN exam and in Calif we have to wait for the dreaded mail. I suggest just try not to think about it, that works for me sometimes.

I will in also be taking the NCLEX in CA late Jan/early Feb. Just trust in how much effort you put in preparing for the test and I'm sure your results will reflect that! Good luck!

Average wait time is three to ten days, but then you also have to add in the holiday time as well. When you test on a Thursday, you normally never see results before Tuesday or so, and with the week after your exam also the week of Christmas, then you can expect a longer wait. Not what you wish to hear, but most offices are closed for a four day weekend with Christmas holiday.
If you have a SSN#, there is not one thing that you can do but wait. Also be aware that they will not issue a license without a completed file as well. So this can push things up to about a month or so at times. Suggest that you wait for two weeks and if you have not heard anything then, contact them to make sure that your file was complete. Could have been that transcripts were not received or an issue with your fingerprints. But because of two holiday weeks, you can expect an extra waiting time.
Best of luck to you.
