NCLEX HELP

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone could offer me some help or advice. I have taken the boards and failed twice and am getting ready to take them again in 1 week. I have done over 3,000 questions, studied meds and labs, and have bought the Kaplan course (twice). If anyone could offer any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

KT

Good luck

I am also trying to use suzannes plan, Do i have to be member(i mean paid member to do so). I took NClex last week and got result today, I am very frustated and feeling terrible :crying2::crying2:, i registered at allnurses yesterday when one of my frien told me abt it so i am new here, I read some posting about suzannes plan. one of them says i have to have 15 post to sent pm to suzanne,

what is PM and do i have to have random posting and make my count 15

looking forward for help

You only have a week left so just relax. I stopped studying two weeks before the exam. :) Leave it all to God and just rest. :)

God bless you!

You don't have to be a paid member. Don't lose hope, I know you are a good nurse. Keep the faith :)

Yes, you have to have 15 posts to be able to send a PM (personal message) to Suzanne. While you are doing the posting, just do the first tip. You only need to send the PM when you're done with the first tip.

Welcome to the site!!! :yeah:

As of this moment, you have done all that you could. If you dont know it, you wont know it. Just trust that what you have learned is good enough. On the day of the exam, go in there with confidence, and keep on going, even if it goes all the way to 265, don't give up. Concentrate on what the question is asking you, take a second before looking at the answers, think priority. dont let the other answers fool you, or make you second guess yourself. How you take the test is what you should be focusing on. If the answer isnt there, choose the one that is the closest to it. Remember to take your time, dont let the time change your pace. I read once someone took 4 hours to do 75 questions and passed. So if you work hard on every question, the less you will get.

If you have less than a week left, there is not too much you can do at this point, except to go back over the areas that you feel are your weakest and practice on your relaxation techniques. Good luck.

I am also studying for the NCLEX-PN. I agree with everybody but I also want to add that you have to believe that you will pass.

i'm not sure which one you are taking-pn/rn, but i have taken the nclexpn twice now and failed. it's been so furstating for me because i studied hard for both, but i have learn't not to give up. i'm ready to brush up myself and do what and all i can this time around. this is not the time for you to be anxcious over the exam you need to be relaxed at this time. wishing you the best.

Awww..don't feel so low. I a about to take the NCLEX RN next week, too, for the first time and I seriously don't know If I am prepared. I know I've done my best to study but it's the anxiety that's getting the best out of me. I do believe, though, that it won't help feeling negative.

So keep your hopes up and just relax (that goes for me, too and everybody else taking the exam soon.)

Goodluck;)

Keep the faith my dear.... ... sleep early before the exam... have a nice breakfast and be there early!!! Don't forget a prayer in your pocket..... Breathe smoothly as you go along...God will be with you ....GOODLUCK!!!!!!!

Hi Sunshine, I just came across one of your replies to someone else and it is exactly what I am trying to figure out, how to take the test. I really focused on prioritization and etc. on my last exam but failed. Can you tell me (in your opinion) more on what you know of "how to take the test". I feel like I have a really good grasp on the content part and am now confused as to how to answer the questions b/c knowledge (in my opinion) is not enough.
