Nursing Students NCLEX

Hello Out There,

Just freaked out about the NCLEX in Kentucky, imagine that. I just finished taking the NCLEX-RN exam about 2-1/2 hours ago and ended up receiving all 265 questions. I don't know what to think. So far, I know three people in my class received 75 questions and passed, one received 175 and passed, then my friend received 235...and passed, but I just don't know. I feel like I failed. Just wondered if anyone had taken all of the questions and passed. I, like others, just started working/orientation. I will die of shame if I failed. Eeeeeek.

Thanks to all who post hear for sharing your honest feelings, words of encouragement, and for just plain being out there in the world and understanding.

Peace and Love.

Thanks silverdragon102...I will consider your advice...

oh yeah, by the way - i passed. :)

re: Zeroxity

My experience with the 265 questions was the same. I felt like I would get a string of them correct and then I would get hit with some difficult ones, and then I would be asking myself, "where am I on this curve," and "when will it stop?"

I know 3 persons who also received the maximum questions (265) and passed. I hope you passed too. Goodluck.

I took the test Sunday afternoon and had 265 questions. I had a ton of select all that apply, 4 math questions, drug questions and drag and reorder questions and a ton of priority questions, like who would the nurse see first and who would the charge nurse assign patients to. My last 4 questions previous to the very last were select all that apply, and the last one was about therapeutic communication. I tried to check my results on pearson vue and it says they are not available on the website or 1900 results line. Sunday night my name was on the Bon stating "Pending" at 9 the next morning my name was gone, but reappeared at about 11 as "pending" then it has not been back on there since... Does this mean I have failed? or could it be something else?

Sorry t hear this, Before you start studying again take a short break. Look at a new study plan as if you haven't studied before. You can do it, have a good read in this forum as there are many threads offering advice on how to study and what worked for them
