NCLEX-getting nervous

Published

Hi All,

My name is Robin and I will be graduating May 2 with a BSN. I am very excited about graduation, but also very nervous about NCLEX. The school I attend is in jeopardy of losing its accreditation due to first time failure rates on NCLEX. Many students who have not passed say that NCLEX was so different from any of the ATI material-I would like to hear about materials used to pass the first time. I am planning to take NCLEX the beginning of JULY.

Our school uses ATI as an NCLEX predictor. Up until now I have scored level 3's on all ATI tests, my grades are very good, but I do not feel prepared to sit for NCLEX. We also use Mentoria for review material. I do not mind to purchase review material, but I am not sure which additional review books I should purchase, or focus my attention on.

Thanks, any opinions will be greatly appreciated.

I am not close to where you are yet, I have one more semester to go (December 2015 grad). I've been told that the Hurst review is good for content and Kaplan for how to take the test. We use Kaplan at my school here in Oklahoma.

Thank you for that information. I have also heard Hurst review is a really good resource. Best of luck to you in your last semester! It flies by so quickly...especially this last one...I can't believe our classes will be over by mid-April.
