NCLEX Experience

Nursing Students NCLEX

I'm writing this blog because I wanted to share my NCLEX experience with you all. So I recently graduated from an LPN program located here in Dayton, OH, on December 14th. I received my ATT number that following week and scheduled to take my test Tuesday, December 27th in Lansing, MI because there were no seats available throughout Ohio. Anyway, when I got there I was nervous as heck. I had 157 question which consisted of 40+ SATA, patient teaching, two math questions, OB, PEDS, one psych question, delegation, and 4 or 5 click and drag questions. I was completely numb after finishing the test, it was a bit difficult in the beginning for me because I kept reading into the questions (PLEASE DO NOT DO THAT ON NCLEX answer only what the question is asking you) and all of the ridiculously amount of SATA questions. Anyway, I found out that I passed today (December 29th) while I was at work on break and almost cried because I seriously thought I had failed. However, I'd like to share with you how I prepared for this exam. In our program we used ATI (which I found harder than NCLEX), took Mark Klimek, I personally purchased an app called NCLEX mastery, and I also purchased the NCSBN review, but I only answered the questions because I didn't have time to read the content and personally I think this was most beneficial resource out of all them because the style of questions are the same on NCLEX. But that was pretty much how I studied and I wish you all the best of luck. :)
