NCLEX EXAM

Hey, Ladies and Gent... I am going crazy after taking my nclex today. I don't think I did too well on the exam and when it cut off at question 136 that confirmed it for me. I walked away expecting to take it again.

Then someone told me about the Trick and I got the message that I couldn't reschedule can anyone tell me if the Pearson tricks really works? PLEASE CALM MY NERVES.:banghead::no:

I'll be going through the same thing tomorrow!!

Everything I read on this site points to it being 100% accurate! Congratulations!!

It worked for me about a year ago!

It has to say... "delivery successful".

It did say delivery successful....Travel Cat I hope that is a Congratulations for both of us.

stefmack, I took the NCLEX this morning and was nervous as ever. After 1 hr 20 min it shut off at 75 questions. I'm not sure whether to be happy about that or not!! I did get the good pop-up from Pearson though, so I hope that it means that I'm an RN!!!

WOOOHOOOOOO!!! Congrats Stefmack, RN!!!!

Yes, I'm an RN too!!! Woohoo!! I'm so super excited!!!

Congratulations to both of you guys! I always love to read of people's success. There is way to much negativity regarding NCLEX!! Would you guys care to share what you did to prepare? I graduated this May and will take NCLEX June 4th (1 week of studying left!!)

I am currently using Rayfield (we had a 3 day NCLEX review in April) and do well on their tests my scores have been at least 75 or greater.

I do have Saunders and LaCharity, but used so much through school that I am already familiar with the question and answers.

NCLEX 4000

ATI on the comp predicator through ATI I scored a 96 (meaning 96% predicability of passing NCLEX first time).

I think my weakest area would be Pharmacology. Do you guys think pharm was heavily tested? What about select all that apply?

Thank you so much for any advice/tips!!

I studied for about 2 weeks using the following:

NCSBN - 60's to 80's on post-tests and question banks

Saunders 5th edition - 70's-80's on exams/quizzes/assessment

Reviewing all rationales

ATI NCLEX mobile app for iPhone

All Nurses study guide

I got a 98% probability of passing on the ATI comprehensive predictor that we did in school a month or so ago and a level 3 on nearly all ATI exams areas throughout school.

I had a lot of SATAs and I don't know that I would say pharm was heavily tested, but honestly after I left everything was a blur...I don't remember specifics.

Good luck!!

Do you feel like ATI question style is similar to NCLEX? I read in previous comments people talking about NCSBN being similar to NCLEX, but have never heard of anyone using that around here. Not sure if it is worth my time or money to get the 3 week course when I am already 1 week away. I saw a comment earlier from you where you said that you did not like the rationales on NCSBN.
