nclex exam

hi i took the nclex last week april 5 2007..im getting worried coz its already been a week since my exam and my name still isnt posted in the website..i took 75 questions and im not sure if i passed or failed coz all of the quetions i answered wer so difficult and this is my 2nd try for the nclex and the questions seem to be harder...what do you think?pls help my sleepless/restless self..:o

I found out last night at midnight that I passed. I really can't believe there's nothing you can do but wait. This has got to be illegal...Don't give up!

CA is actually the only state that will permit a new grad that attended school in CA to test before they have even received the actual transcripts from your school. As long as your name is on the list that the school sends.

But they cannot legally issue a license until they have a completed file on you. Average wait of time is ten days. There are only about 1/2 of the states that have Quick Results, some states take as long as three weeks or so for all before they are notified.

So be happy that you could take the exam so soon...............

Until you get a letter in the mail telling you otherwise, anything can happen. Each and every file is thoroughly reviewed once the passing NCLEX score is added to it by a human. Depends on where your file is in the pile of folders in the first place. And what if that reviewer is out sick for a couple of days?

Please just sit tight, there is nothing that you can do until you hear, except give yourself an ulcer. And that you do not need.

No, you cannot. You do not have a license that has been issued to you unless you have a SSN#. Without having the SSN#, you only have a letter that you have passed that exam. You will not get a license issued until you are actually in the US and ready to begin work.

Your name will not be on that website until you are issued a hard license with an actual number. And you do not have that yet.

oh my god!!!oh MY GOD!!!!OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!i cant believe this after an agonizing 4 weeks of waiting i discovered that I FRIGGIN PASSED THE NCLEX!!!!!!!!OH MY GOOOODD!!!

thank you guys for all the words of wisdom and your prayers!!!im a living proof that there's always hope..phew!!im gonna take a vacationg for 6 months then start working..thank you so much y'all!!!
