NCLEX and Erickson

Hello, Friends,

I graduate a week from today and will start studying for NCLEX-RN soon (after Monday's final ERI exit exam). My weakest area is peds and developmental stages. I have kids and have the hardest time with milestone questions (b/c all kids are different). Anyway, does NCLEX ask theory questions -- like 'according to Erickson's theory of psychosocial development, a preschool child would ...' or Piaget, Kohlberg, Freud, etc.?

Thanks for any info you can give!

Linda, I feel your pain with the Erickson's stages of development as I stumbled through that part of pedi as well. And sure enough, I did have a couple of questions on the NCLEX r/t Erickson's stages of development. Ugh.
