What is a safe level to be getting on the saunders questions once you are onto the CD questions in "Exam" mode to have the best chance of passing NCLEX?

It would be helpful to know where I am in relation to where I need to be!

can anyone tell me how to post pm to suzanne's box in reference to her study plan?

thank you

Thank you. Has anyone here gotten less than 75% before reading the chapter. I have been getting some 60% and 50% which makes me really nervous and uptight.

I've been an LVN for close to 17 yrs and not actually in a transitional program yet but always thinking ahead to my second trip to Austin to take NCLEX. Suzzane's program follows Saunder's Review book and CD. I googled it- is it the one that is $40-50 and has a blue cover?

(Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN Examination

yes. it is the 3rd edition with blue cover if you are speaking of NCLEX RN by Saunders and the price is $45.oo

Awesome! comforting knowing that you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars to pass. A good study guide, practice and commitment should work. I've heard nightmare stories about pricey workshops and programs.

Hi Echota,

I sometimes would get 60% lowest 50%.....is that normal? I feel at lost sometimes with Suzanne's plan. Am I alone with this?

You are not alone, hopeful. Don't get discouraged if you score low. I know it's frustrating to go back and read the chapter but just remember that scoring low only means that we still need to study more in that area. Take your time to read that chapter again and make sure you feel comfortable in that area. It will only help us prepare for suzanne's guide after we're done studying the book :)

How far along are you? I'm not even halfway yet as I hope to be :( I guess it's gonna take longer than I expected. That's alright, as long as I pass the test the next time I take it :)

Hi Echota,

I will resume Ch 30 tomorrow. I had a real bad day yesterday with Kaplan and it is now resolved. It set me back because I got emotionally upset the whole day and it continued this morning. But tomorrow will be a better day or at least I hope it will be a better day. I am planning to do at least 10 chapters a day.

Are you using Kaplan's strategy as well. I tried doing it but most of the questions really apply on content for this particular study in this book.

I got

Gosh, I do not even get 100% after re taking the quiz. I still sometimes get 75% after reading the chapters.

I hope everything is better for you today :) I tried doing 10 chapters a day but it's impossible for me hehe...5 chapters didn't work either... So i'm just doing my best to study that area and make sure I feel good about it before going to the next chapter.

It's hard to apply Kaplan's strategy in every question of the chapter because I sometimes don't know the content  I'm starting on ch 33 today. Goodluck studying
