Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed. Nursing Students NCLEX Article

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam? 

Steps To See If You Passed The NCLEX On Pearson VUE Website

STEP 1 This is a test. Go To NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.

STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.

STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.

STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.

STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.

STEP 6 Enter Your Username.

STEP 7 Enter Your Password.

STEP 8 Click The Button.

STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.

STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.

STEP 11 Click The Button.

STEP 12 Select Your Country.

STEP 13 Click The Button.

STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.

STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.

STEP 15 Select Your State.

STEP 16 Type In Your City.

STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.

STEP 18 Select Your School.

STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.

STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.

STEP 21 Click The Button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

hi...okay now i'm wondering about the validity of the pop up. i've been reading the posts for sometime and thought of myself as a firm believer that seeing the pop up was a good thing. but when calling pearson this morning, i was told, i couldn't re-register without an authorization to test (att) so how would it let anyone get through to the credit card page without first contacting the brn? he told me i couldn't register to retake the exam without the att. so now i am confused and a little nervous. my test shut off at 75 questions and now i am also playing the waiting game. ugh!

if you remember, you are able to register and pay for your nclex without an att, you just cant schedule an actual date until you get the att. i registered for the nclex and paid $200 a month before i got my att and actually scheduled the date. so my guess is that the customer service people are told to not reveal anything no matter what for legallity issues. i bet after being contacted about it several times the "trick" might not be available in the upcoming years....but for now i really doubt that they could change thier computer program so fast, especially since down time is costly. so my guess, if you get the pop up you passed, if you dont get it you might do some studying why you wait for your results.

i took the nclex pn on june 18th... i got so tired of waiting for the results so yesterday i finally tried this trick... pop up message showed up after the school info page... i was so shocked because there's no way i coulda passed the boards... so why isnt it letting me go any further with the registration??? TODAY, i got my mail and it said I PASSED... i was shaking and crying... i couldn't believe it... what else can i say... this trick worked for me and everyone else here...

IT WORKED FOR ME!!! i took the boards on june 18th... i got so tired of checking the mail and hoping to see a letter from the boards, so i gave this trick a shot yesterday... pop up message showed up after the school info page... i was shocked!!! there's no way i coulda passed the boards... i thought to myself maybe this trick isnt really reliable... but today i got my MAIL and to my surprised it said I PASSED.... Dont give up and never stop praying people... GOD IS GOOD!!!!

I took the NCLEX-RN boards in Utah on June 14th. I was so worried! Hardest test of my life! I was so worried. Luckily I had found this discussion board weeks ago. I tried the trick for myself, got that lovely little pop up. I still had doubts, but it gave me some peace of mind while I waited for the Quick Results. I just checked my results about an hour ago from NCS Pearson, I PASSED! what a great feeling! I think the trick worked, but regardless, it let me sleep at night while I waited! What a relief!

For each of us, the NCLEX is both a different journey and the same journey all combined into one huge anxiety test.

People need to vent on here, to express anxiety and doubts about this trick ( that really does work) and to get support from fellow board members.

They do not need to be ridiculed nor torn down because they are anxious about their results.

The NCLEX is a horrid test and I can atest we all feel the same way when we get out of Pearson Testing Center~~~ a sickness in the pit of our stomach, crying and major anxiety issues.

We log into Pearsonvue hundreds of times while awaiting our " official" results just to see if by chance they made a mistake and it lets us re-register. How many times do we click refresh on the BON site to see if our status has turned to " active" yet? I have been there done that...........and know exactly what many are going through.

To all who have done this journey and to the thousands yet to do the test, know that you are not alone and there are many people here that will support you along the way. Yes, some posts are the same over and over again....but this is an individual life changing experience.......lets make sure we respect each other and treat it that way.

For those who fail the test, keep at it! Don't let it win! Go into the test calm and determined. And you know what, if you fail........you won't be the 1st nor last to do so. Just get back up on your feet again, chalk it up to experience and re-register for the test again.

Good luck to all and ignore the ones who run you down. We are nurses and WE ALL ROCK! :nurse:

Just tried the "trick" then checked my boards for a license number and Bammmmm. I passed. So it worked in my case.

jamsinerain... thanks for the info. I actually realized I was doing it wrong. I did it the right way, got the "correct" pop-up and found out the next day I passed. Thanks though! :yeah:

For CA, did you try looking up your name on the CA BON website? Most of my friends in CA were able to see their name on the website within a few days of taking the test and weeks before they got their letter in the mail. Good luck!

I've tried it and it cant find me. Maybe its for RNs only. I took my PN exam. Goodluck to us all. :nuke:

The trick worked for me here in California...had to wait 3 long weeks, thought for sure I failed after the test, but got the pop up...and found out today I passed! That trick helped me to not worry about the test!!!

I passed!! This trick definitly works! My friend who also did the trick she passed! I think its a great thing to relieve some anxiety!!
