as i said, i dont guarantee that it will help you but i only used those modules to study since i was working fulltime as a cna before i took my boards. i also used my notes when i was still in school and i passed my boards with flying colors. i don't mind spending money if its gonna help me. im one of those students who wants and likes to study but doesnt have time to do it. but thank God Im an LVN now and got a job offer as soon as i passed my boards. goodluck to everyone... remember, just believe in youself and study. do whatever works for you. doesn't matter what books or modules you use. in the end, its still how you answer those questions that makes you a safe nurse on the field.

What I've heard is that once the computer determines that hey this student is safe on the field and yes he/she grasp nursing, its gonna ask you hard questions only to see how far your limit is but its for sure that you will pass. On the other hand, if it keeps going, no worries. You haven't failed yet. Its only trying to determine how far you can go. There's a certain level that every candidate must meet in order to pass. My test stopped at 85 and I had 15 SATA and I thought I failed coz there's a big chance that I will miss something or I will click onto something unrelated to the question. Thank God I passed the first time. My advice to those whose taking the test, no way you can be prepared but atleast asked yourself, have you studied enough that you can tell yourself if you pass, you studied hard, if you fail, atleast you studied hard and you tried. > about the pearson vue trick, no doubt that it works. A lot of people have done it including the ones that failed. If you get the pop up, you pass. If it lets you pay again, only means you failed. No need to reregister again if you passed. After all, we all took a computerized test. They know the moment it shuts down. The state just wants clarification and verification thats why it takes a month for the results. Hope this info helps. I took 6 days review at my school, I read some modules that I purchased online then I did couple questions on saunders & lippincott cds. I'm not one of those students who did thousands of questions. I did less than 500 probably. I was lazy and I was working a lot of hours as a cna. Those modules really helped me. I just kept reading the 158 pages of notes on those modules for 2 weeks and it made me take my test easy that I thought I failed coz I was done in less than 30 mins. I passed my nclex pn at 85 and got lucky on my first try. Depending on how you learn stuff, that's how you should study so you don't get too much headache. If your a visual learner then read. If your auditory, there's clips on eri to listen to. It summarizes everything we've studied in school. I can email you the modules that I used to study for my test if you want. :nuke:

I said I'll let you know if I passed and yeah!!! After 18 days of waiting here in CA, finally my NCLEX PN reults came... I was happy I didnt get the 3 white papers. I got the greens and got a small envelope asking me to pay for my license. If you stopped at 85 and unsure of what you did, try the trick. It really works!!! Im one of those 3 to 4000 people who can say its true. Good luck to those taking the test. Have faith in yourself. We all deserve to pass!!!

I know!!! Im so happy I passed!!! and thanks for being supportive too. Im finally a nurse! Yeah!!! Im persuing my career to a RN or BSN in a year or two. I'll get experience first as an VN then go from there. :wink2:

You'll be fine. I heard kaplan is good. Just keep practicing questions everyday. Goodluck to you. Make sure you study infection control, meds, pharm and what nurses should monitor for certain diseases so you're kinda prepared for it. But to top it all, just trust yourself you can do it. You've been in school for a long time. Its not like you dont know it, you just need refreshments and reinforcements so you can remember everything and trust me, you think you dont know it but you do and you will. I got my results for my NCLEX PN here at CA after 18 days of waiting. I got my results on a weekend too. I PASSED!!! Yeay!!! :wink2:

I passed!!! Yeay!!! And yes, I stopped at 85, I felt it was hard and I felt like I bombed it but I've tried the trick and I got the pop up! Only makes sense coz you don't have to re-register once you pass! I got lucky on my first try! Thank you Jesus!!! Im sooo happy I passed!!! :wink2:

I took my NCLEX PN last June 30th and I haven't heard from the boards yet. Some people say they got their results in 2 weeks or less. But on the ncsbn website, it could take up to a month to 6 weeks since CA doesn't participate in quick results. My tests stopped at 85 and i got a lot of sata's, infection control, rooming in, 1 math and a lil meds. Mostly prioritization. I've also tried the trick and i got the famous pop up. here's how to the famous trick 1. Login to your pearsonvue account. 2. Click on register 3. Try and go ahead and make another schedule 4. Answer those questions where it asks you have you taken the exam before, etc 5. When you get the pop up that says you have recently scheduled this exam, contact your boards for more info then supposedly, you passed. **If it lets you pay again, the 200 dollars you paid before, then you might have probably failed. Im really hoping this trick works. I live in CA so I have to wait for atleast a month. I've gone crazy to insane. Huhuhu...

You got it right! LOL! Do your best each questions and if you pass 75 and it still keeps asking you questions, sit back if your tired for a minute and answer each questions carefully because you haven't failed yet if you keep getting questions. Once you pass 75, try to answer each questions carefully as the computer is trying to determine whether you grasp nursing or not. My friend went all the way to 265. She told me when the computer said she can take a break, she went and washed her face, took a deep breathe and told her self she will pass. After all, most of the good nurses on the field didn't pass the first time. Goodluck!! :nuke:

Which one are you taking? RN or PN? Good luck!!! Follow what your gut says if it ask you a question you don't know. And take your time answering each question. Don't look at which one is the answer. If you were to ask me, my answer is no. No way someone feels prepared for the boards. Yes, they may feel ready as they go inside the test room but I guarantee you, once the hard questions pops up, they're gonna wish they could have studied more. LOL!!! :lol2:
