Hi RNs & Soon-to-be Test Takers! I finished school July 13th but I have been doing 100 Q's per day since May 21st. (The final nursing course in the program I attended consisted of 2 Comprehensive Exams so the Dean suggested doing 100 Q's per day). So yes, I've been doing questions for awhile. I'm currently waiting on my ATT. I'm in Virginia. I have used several resources since starting the 100 Q's per day in May: Lippincott NCLEX RN review & the alternate format book, Davis NCLEX Guide, Med Surg made easy, Lippincott PrepU, Saunders. The program had a 3 day live review (HESI). Since finishing on the 13th of July, I took a full week off! (Mental Break needed😑) Now, I'm only using the NCSBN 3 week online course ($50). I'm hoping since they create the exams, this would be a good resource to do right before taking the NCLEX. By the way, I'm only doing the Ncsbn practice questions. The only content I'm reviewing is my weak area: maternity 😣 What are you all using to "study"? Any suggestions? Thanks & Good Luck to you all!!!

Oh & I do have Lacharity Priority Delegation book as a PDF. (Our instructor emailed it to us). I haven't really used it yet. I read numerous posts stating a lot of priority and teaching on the NCLEX. So I will be doing questions from that book as well. However, I'm planning to schedule the NCLEX ASAP!

My application to Virginia's BON was finally processed today & I received my eligibility to test via email at 11:32 this morning. Pearson Vue emailed my ATT a few hours later (5:30pm to be exact!). Thank Goodness! This has been a longggggg wait. I'm scheduled to take the NCLEX-RN this Friday at 8. (All of sudden my stomach is doing flips! LOL) Good Luck to you all!

Took my exam in August as well!! I think the Mark Klimek audio for maternity is great, so if you have problems in that area I highly suggest you check that out. Hone in on delegation, teaching, and prioritization. I also got a few procedures on mine, so make sure to brush up the correct steps to, lets say, put in a catheter. Good luck! Update: Took the NCLEX-RN this morning at 0800. Finished @0930 with 75 questions. Completed 20 Research questions.Then a survey. Just as others, I left feeling as if I failed. Some questions were vague. I had no idea what it was asking so I had to look at the given answers which helped. During the entire exam, I could hear my heart beating with headphones on! Lol! I didn't have more of any specific topic. My exam was pretty "balanced". I know some people stated on this forum that they had more of priority, delegation, maternity, psych, or peds, etc. I had maybe 13-15 SATAs, 1 EKG, & 2 exhibits. No put in order. Did the PVT once I received the email from Pearson regarding exam completion. Good Pop-up! Waiting for official results. (VA doesn't have quick results í ½í¸”) Wish I'd taken it on the weekday. Anyhow, the wait begins. Monday please get here quickly!

Update: I passed! My license number posted to the NURSYS website this morning at 0930!
