Thanks for posting this link. Today in clinical we were discussing all the fees etc for applying and getting licensed. Someone from another school commented that as LPN's we didnt need to pay the $55.00 to be fingerprinted prior to taking boards. Apparently in my state LPN's are exempt from having to be fingerprinted if they hold an active license when they sit for the boards.
Your link helped me get the documentation from the practice act in my state to backup the information we got today when we approach our program director about it.
To the rest of you graduating and taking boards, check out the practice acts and rules for application to take boards. Make sure you arent being assessed fees for things you dont need to. Especially if you bridged to a program. They tend to forget some of us are not first time licensees.
Thanks again Nightengale.
Have a great day
Glad it was of use to you meownsmile!
Good luck on NCLEX!
