Nursing Students NCLEX

I know this question has been asked several times, but I just want to know the best books to study for the NCLEX. I will be graduating on August 4th and during my three week break [starts next week], I want to start studying. I have heard Kaplan is great because it teaches you how to answer the questions and that is what I need. Thank you for all your help and have a wonderful day!

Many are successful using Saunders Comprehensive Review PN or RN. Give yourself enough time until your test date, from one to three months. Do as many questions as possible and study the rationales. Relax the day before the test. Good luck.

i use saunders review pn. i took my test on may4 and i just found out that i pass. good luck

I would suggest Sanders. I read the book first then I went to the exam part on the CD and did at least one hundred questions per day. Read the rationales, even if you answered the question correct. Bookmark the questions you did not get correct and go back over them once you have completed all the questions.

Also the Kaplan book on how to take the NCLEX is great. It will help you to understand how the test is set up and how to narrow down the right answer.

I also used Feuer tapes, you can download them somewhere on the internet for free. I used these in the car.

Memorize your labs, these are important.

I used Kaplan for less than 1 month, took the NCLEX and passed. My online subscription expires July 5, 2009. Message me for more information.

Hello everyone. I am taking the Nclex on may 13 2009. I have done at least 1000 questions from saunders since the last 11 days. I am a little scared because when I tried the kaplan questions I never went over 57%:eek:. But saunders is very easy when I am doing it and I really like it. Does Nclex questions look like Hesi or Saunders? Should I continue with my saunders or double study with kaplan? I think I am starting to start feeling the stress.

i took my test on may 4 and i use saunder. i did most of the study questions on the cd. i passed. ithink try to relax, don,t over study. the test look alot like the saunder question. good luck and i know you will make it.
