I bought the Kaplan strategies book and learned their method for answering questions, rewording and eliminating wrong answers. Now I am doing poorly, only scoring about a 69% on my practice tests. In pearsonvues, Exam Cram I have been doing about 80% and I was graduated at the top of my class with ATI scores predicting I would pass with 99% certainty. What's happening?

I'm so worried now, my test is next Tuesday and I'm feeling unprepared even though I've studied every day! I graduated in January with a 94 average! Kaplan says the test is at the "application level" meaning they test your knowledge of what to do, priorities etc. Any good ideas for how to do well?

Help ! and thanks!

There are tons of threads discussing preparation for the NCLEX in the NCLEX forum. You are engaged in unnecessary worry. At this point, you should be as ready as you will ever be. Work on your relaxation skills and do not get yourself wrapped around the axle over predictor scores. The test is unpredictable and worrying about it is not productive. Good luck.
