Nursing Students NCLEX

Does anyone know of a state that will let me test it's been 7 yrs since I graduated a Texas nursing program please help thanks for your time...

I graduated in 2008 and I am taking the Nclex on 1/30/2018. I just called the nursing board in advance and got my answer.

Well I live in Texas and they said I only had 5 yrs to test then I couldn't test in Texas anymore so what state did u contact ???

Some people graduate nursing school, and then, for whatever reason, do not test for years. It sounds like you have tested repeatedly. At this point, since it has been so long, and you have struggled with either testing/content, repeating a program may be in order. Also remember that passing the NCLEX is only the first step. Getting a job is the second step. The 7 year gap between schooling and licensure is a huge red flag - you will not get past the computer algorithms at most large hospitals. Going back to school (and not just a refresher program, which could just consists of a few weekends) would solve this as well.
Yes I would like to go bk to school but since I've already graduated from that program I'd have to pay for the entire program I can afford it so maybe it's time that I just try another field bc maybe nursing isn't for me thanks for your help God Bless

New Mexico that's what I am doing right now. I graduated 10 years ago and I am getting all my documents in order to test for RN Nclex
Congradulations may I ask what did you use to prepare yourself for RN Nclex.

You can test in Virginia, North Carolina and Florida.
