Is There Any Chemistry In The Test?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I currently am in Chem but am thinking of dropping and switching to Physio. All I need for this one college is to complete Physio and I can get in to the Nursing program. But I will continue in Chem if it is needed for the NCLEX. Does anyone know?

There is no chemistry in Nclex

There is no actual chemistry on the NCLEX exam, but you will see much in the way of chemistry in the nursing program.

True. The nclex is not going to have any actual chem on the exam, however you will be much more prepared for ABG'S and many other concepts in your n. prog. It is also going to make physio alot more clear. I remember when I took it there were people who were totally lost b/c they didn't understand the concept b/c they had no foundation to draw from.:tinkbll:

No chem per se on the NCLEX, however you will need to master the concepts for the other science courses, including physiology. Even then, you can pass these courses by spending extra effort on the chem principles without having the course. Just makes it easier on you if you complete chem.
