Saturday and Sunday count for Quick Results.
Keep these things in mind:
- There is no way we can know the level of difficulty for individual questions. Those are assigned after they are pre-tested on many students, just as some of your questions were being pre-tested (and those are unscored).
- People pass and fail the NCLEX at all numbers of questions.
- The NCLEX is designed so that passers and failers both get 50% right and 50% wrong.
Well, first of all I wish you the best. I know you've already taken it, but it's never too late to wish someone well!
I haven't taken mine yet, but the 18th is quickly approaching.
I don't know the answers to your question about the simpler questions...but if you thought they were simple and you answered them correctly, I would not worry too much about that. It's when you don't answer those simple ones right that I would be concerned!
I believe med questions are a mixture of application and analysis. You really could go either way based on what the question is asking. I mean, meds conver instruction, knowledge of disorders, and being able to interpret lab results that those meds are supposed to effect.
Alternate format...not sure. But I hate those kind of questions! You miss a part of it you miss the whole thing. Booo.
I see you live in Texas which is a wonderful place! Quick results are fantastic! I was also wondering about the 48 hours for mine as well. I'm not sure what they consider a full 2 days. Take it on Monday...does that mean Wednesday or Thursday results? Eh.
If it really really bothers you, I'd call the BNE and see what the 2 days qualifies as since you took it on Friday.
Good luck!

Hey all I am new here though i've been a lurker for the past two weeks since i felt the dread of the nclex coming upon me. I took the nclex RN today and it stopped at 75. the only question i am positive i got right was the first one
my question is... i keep reading on here that people got A LOT of priority... i got my fair share of these, especially towards the end... but i did see a lot of simpler questions... is this a bad sign??
also.. are meds considered analysis/application or are they lower level (non-passing) questions??
and one more.. are the alternate format also application/analysis level questions or are they also lower level questions?
i am so happy i live in a quick results state so now i'm just trying to keep busy for two days... i wonder if saturday & sunday count as the 48 hrs?
