How to study for NCLEX-PN

Nursing Students NCLEX

I recently bought the red Saunders book, the Kaplan blue Strategies book, and the extended 8 week course through the NCSBN but I feel like I am reading too much. Like should I alternate and read then answer questions they provide or read the whole material and then answer the practice questions to each material?

I studied for my nclex using ncsbn ' s 5 week program, I read through the early ropucs, then when I got to the individual med surg topics, I just studied what I was weak in since my time was running out. I also did 500 of the question bank questions.

I supplemented my studying by doing the saunders questions that comes with the code with the red book, nclex 3000 (though that site seems to be down now), nclex mastery app (while I was out and about) and some ati, especially the pharm since my program was required to buy it.

I always read the rationales and made sure I understood them. I passed my nclex pn with 85 questions. It all depends on how you use what you have to study.
