hi everyone, i had one question regarding saunders book. can anyone tell me how many months to take to finish the saunders book.

-thanks ash

It should take you about two to thre weeks to go thru it and actually learn from it.

Would it be better to do the disk or go through the questions in the book?

If you have not passed the exam the first time or it has been more than 16 months since you graduated from school, you need to follow what I have under a sticky on the NCLEX Discussion Forum. For the original poster, they need to use the book before even starting the CD.

Does that posting that says go through each chapter and do 100 questions apply to someone who has not taken the boards. I would also like to know if that means read the chapter and do the questions or just do the questions.

You are combining both parts.

Step 1: If you need the review, do the questions in the book without using it as a resource and see how many that you can get right. This is not where the 100 per day comes in, it is before you even get to that. If you do not get at least 75% on the section, then go back and read the chapter. If you do get over 75%, then go onto the next chapter and repeat that.

The 100 questions per day is not until you have gone thru the book. In my opinion, it is extremely beneficial for foreign grads to go thru the systems this way as a review.
