I'm taking the NCLEX on Aug. 20th. I'm really nervous and unsure of myself because my scores have been all over the place in the past 3 weeks (been studying for a solid 3 wks), ranging from 46-78. I'm doing Kaplan and have pretty much exhausted the Q-bank - about 30 questions left in the Q-bank with an overall percentage of 59%. Lately I've been scoring in the low-high 50's and I'm starting to freak out a little. My last few 50-question test scores were:
66
64
68
52
58
52
56 (this is my most recent test)
I'm baffled as to why this has happened and I'm so worried. I graduated in May but am just taking the test because of several reasons: I just had a baby in March, my husband is in the military and has deployed, and we moved out of our residence in July. I know that you need an overall of 60% to be good to go but with a 59% I'm not sure where I stand right now, 4 days before the exam. I've read the entire Kaplan RN course book too (although I read most of it about 2 months ago) and I've been listening to the Question Review videos in the past few days. Am I overreacting? Thanks for any advice or encouragement.
Happy for everyone who have been passing. Taking mine next week, not much time left and I am very very very nervous. Doing kaplan as well, so far finished 90 percent of Q-Bank with 60 % average and Q-Trainer ranging from 57-63, yet to do q-7. Doing content and questions. But now, it seems like nothing is going in my head. So, nervous. Please pray for me.
Thanks

Noemark - when are you testing? RN or PN exam? For me, I was weak in test taking so I made sure I took all of the practice tests in Kaplan. For content, you need to set a plan to read a good chunk of pages in your book each day. That's the only way I was able to finish my whole Kaplan RN course book.
