Does anyone know what the best CD for studying for the NCLEX is?
I bought the NSNA review book for the NCLEX and it came with a CD. I like to review the questions on my laptop for about 20 minutes each night while I am in bed.
I heard that Saunders makes the best NCLEX review book, does it come with a CD?

The Saunder's CD has worked really well for me. The questions are tougher than some of the other sources I used, and I like the detailed rationales given. I also inherited a copy of the NCLEX 3500, which has been a nice review as well.

i used nclex-4000 which is a newer version of nclex-3500.....if you can get hold of some kaplan questions on a cd or register for the question bank it is well worth it...very similar to nclex style of question.

Hey Nicole I am testing on July 17. I feel ready but f course no one ever feel 100% ready. I am using many resources to study including the RN 3500 Nclex review software. Do you think that it is worth to buy the RN 4000 just for questions for the remaining 7 days before the test? You seem to agree that RN 4000 looks similar to Nclex style of questions...
Thanks

noooo dont go by the 4000 cd if you already have the 3500...the 4000 is just a newer version......how is your studying going are you finished with content reviewing and answering just questions or both?
My study is going well. I am almost finished studying. I am going to spend the last week just doing questions and reviewing few meds. Other than that I am really confident that I'll do well. I got so many info and tips from this forum and it's been an additional study tool...
I am testing on July 17 at 2:45 pm here in Chicago. (I am not a morning person). I am starting my orientation on August 3rd. I'll be working in MICCU! Wish me good luck! Where are you going to work in NC? Raleigh or Salem? One of my friends works a Duke...

nclex 3500 cd's doesn't have an evaluation of your performance after you took certain practice tests.
Saunders newest version is very much helpful especially with the alternate type of questions. It's quite tough especially with SATA.
Kaplan's questions are the hardest questions that i've encountered.
i still think that passing the nclex is not based on what book or cd to practice on, it would still depend on your determination and drive that you will succeed in the exam.

BECAUSE confidence on the day of testing will really help... I'd do all the questions I can if I were you. I used Lippincott's PDA review (didn't like it, it doesn't score your test, you have to keep count!) ATI tests from school, and the Saunders book/CD. I really liked the Saunders and used it a lot. I took my test yesterday and got 75 questions so I guess we'll know soon enough. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

I loved Lippincotts 3500/4000 but I found them to be a little easy as compared to the NCLEX questions, but they gave the best breakdown compared to other books and cds. So far I've found Saunders to be the most difficult questions I've come across.
