nclex in cali no ssn says reapply

hi everyone ,recently i took my nclex exam in cali and received my letter in cali board says that i Failed,and it says to the letter that "TO REAPPLY FOR THE TN NCLEX EXAMINATION"COMPLETE AND SUBMIT "A REQUEST FOR REPEAT EXAMINATION".ETC.......THE PROBLEM IS I DONT HAVE MY SSN NUMBER. And the new law says "NO SSN NO repeat examination. just wondrin why would they tell me to reapply again? hope you can help me to enlighten ,thanks.

They're giving you permission to reapply once you get your SSN.

That the new regulation. You cant take then nclex anymore without SSN. When did you apply for nclex?

i apply nclex before the new rule was applied ,then i failed since i have no ssn why theyre asking me to the letter to reapply again.

Check with CA but as far as I am aware you have been sent out a standard letter. If you have no SSN then they no longer are allowing you to resit NCLEX

They are letting you know that once you comply you will be able to reapply. Otherwise, you might mistakenly believe that you will never get a second chance to apply.
