NCLEX CALI result

Published

Hi I took my NCLEX in the Philippines last June 24. Until now I did not yet receive the mail from Cali-BON. I email them but they have no reply. I am so tired of waiting for the results, almost pass a month. please help me what will i do? thanks

I would suggest waiting until you are married and then submit your application. All forms can be found on the BRN website (link can be found at the bottom of the page) you need to meet foreign nurse requirement and arrange for your school to send transcripts to the BRN.

Suggest a good read in the International forum as there are many threads already discussing Ca. Plus any further questions regarding Ca should be posted in that forum

silverdragon is correct. you might have problems with your maiden name. NCLEX is very specific about the full name that you provide to them.

Hello I had already called CALI-BON and they told me that my NCLEX_RN result is on hold because I have problems on my fingerprints. What will I do next?

Thanks so much.

Did they say what sort of problem and do you need to redo them?

If there are problems with your fingerprinting it could be due to the poor fingerprint capture methods in Philippines. I'd suggest you read on the FBI website and see what their standards are to see what may need to be adjusted for yours and to ensure that the one capturing your fingerprints is doing a good job.

You should tell the fingerprinter that you are having to get them done again because they were messed up before and ask him to please take care with it. They rush things too much for the fingerprinting here and end up mangling the cards in the process.

hello cali-bon sent a reply to my email regarding my nclex-rn result that is on-hold. will i send another fingerprint cards or just wait for my file to be completed? thank you very much.

here is it:

at this time your file is incomplete. once your fingerprint has been cleared, your file will be complete.

please note: exam failure results are sent out despite a file being incomplete so really, no news is good news.

please be patient and let the process be completed.

It may be that they are still waiting for results so probably wait a bit longer.

was the above an email from the board of registered nursing? i can't believe they put the please note: exam failure........what that is telling you is that you passed and they can't formally send the results until doj/fbi clear your prints. i wish we could have done something similar with the lvn board!

hard cards are taking a while longer for doj to process. the first line tells me that either doj is running very behind or your prints weren't going through the first time and bon requested doj to run them again. usaually the second time does the trick however, sometimes they will do a fingerprint check by name. at least you know it's good news and you passed.

hi! I just took my nclex (for CALI)yesterday. And I still get a pounding headache everytime I think about it. It was like I got caught offhand with some of the questions. anyway, Its done. I just want to end my anxiety of waiting for another 3-4 weeks for the result whether I pass or fail. Does anyone know if the pearson vue "tricks" works for those people who tested outside U.S.?

Thanks guys. I hope I could lessen my anxiety. Id rather know right now, than get peptic ulcers because of too much stress for the weeks of waiting :-)

:up:Hey Braveheart,

Yes, it does seeem to work for international students. Good Luck

Hello! Until now I still dont have my NCLEX result. Waiting time is soo long and it's killing me now. I can't wait for my result.I tried calling CAli BON but the operator said the call is unavalaible at this time. I also sent email and fax them but still no reply.

Hı Cherryeoh,

I'm an RN in Turkey and I took my Nclex RN in 29 July. I have not yet received my results as well. I think this is just bcs the board send the results as normal mail and for the overseas mails it takes really long time. I assume mine will take 6-8 weeks or even more 10 weeks to arrive. This is what I experienced during my application process period. It took really long to receive the eligibility mail, finger print, etc.

I also tried the trick and it directed me to the CC page:crying2: however I'm not surprised 'cause this was my first time and I did not study at all. I'm planning to take the second time in April and I hope by that time I'll be prepared for it bu t have doubts 'cause I'm working, currently doing an MBA program and married:confused: well, I'll try to do my best and will try to benefit from this site which I think is very useful and well organized.

I believe you passed!:yeah:

First of all the "tricks" are urban legend according to Pearson-Vue reps, NCSBN and several trusted NCLEX review professionals.

Secondly, the NCLEX exam is exactly the same no matter where you take it in the world or what state you have applied for.

hello everyone! i am happy and proud to say that i passed the nclex-rn exam. finally i received the result of my exam from california board of nursing after 3 agonizing months of waiting and its worthwhile. my exam result was on-hold because of some fingerprint problems.

thank you very much for the prayers, encouragement and for the positive replies to this thread.

it really pays to wait. god is so great that he hears and answers our fervent prayers. we just need to be optimistic in life and hope for the best. god bless us all! :loveya::prdnrs:
