NCLEX, ATT, actual license, and the NCBON?

Does anyone know how long it takes for the NCBON to send the actual license once you've passed boards?

We had to pass our CBC prior to the BON deeming us eligible to test. All I know is I took my boards on a Wednesday and my license was issued on Friday of the same week. I'm guessing mine will arrive within the next week allowing them time to get it in the mail. I don't live far from Raleigh so mail from there only takes 1-2 days to get to me.

other state boards do not find this difficult - I know, of instance, that in Florida you can verify any license you wish - http://ww2.doh.state.fl.us/irm00praes/praslist.asp - the Fl DOH considers it a matter of public health and safety to have this information available to the public - the license # is NOT given out - just what the person is licensed for (RN, LPN, MD, DO, etc) and in what part of the state they practice...

say for instance you went to a doctor - but felt necessary to check whether or not he was truly a doctor, or the same with a nurse who responded to an add to care for your grandmother, etc :)

I got my certificate # from NCBON on June 13, and received my actual plastic card about, well, 5 minutes ago in my mailbox!

I tested Wednesday, got quick results Friday and today I was thrilled to get my certificate in the mail. Do we also get a plastic wallet card?
