Navarro College Info

Can anyone give me some info on Navarro college? I'm considering applying for their nursing program, but would like to hear from graduates or people who have recently gone through their program. I did find some older posts from 2007, but would like to hear from people who are attending now or have more recently attended.

hey I do have a question. Are there any students in your class that work part-time or full-time jobs while in the program?

Yes! I know that you are a LVN, and probably want to keep working like all of us do. Some would work double weedends, but that got too much to handle, so they would cut back to one day and it gets easier, like now that we are fixing to graduate. I only work on Sat and prn during the week, there is just so much studying that if your grades slip you would cut back and thats what happened to alot of them who did double weekends.

okay I will have to adjust as I go. I work weekends now 12hr shifts and agency during the week. Thanks for the info and good luck on your internship.

Hi, I recently applied to Navarro's generic RN program. I made a 87.5 on the TEAS, and I have a 3.8 GPA. I emailed the school asking when will they send out the letters, and they responded that they'll hopefully mail them by May 3rd. I hope I'll make it in, if not I got other opportunities. :) Good luck!
