Brand new nurse here, can anyone point me to scrubs that are all/mostly cotton or other natural fibers? I haven’t been able to find much higher than 50%. I guess I am a textiles snob, but am not loving they high polyester content. Is the high synthetic content to help with stains?

I used to love cotton scrubs but I hate ironing. I currently wear Fitscrubs which are a cotton/ppoly/copper fiber blend that is cool and comfortable and never needs ironing.
the problem with most sustainable fabrics is they require a lot of water and pesticides. Also chemical processes may be applied to break down the plant fibers to make cloth so they are tough on the environment.

Thanks! That makes sense. I guess I like the breathability of natural fibers, but sustainability is also so key. I love that article!

The scrubs I wear are pricey but they breath wick away moisture and are super comfy
