National University SD Cohort 39

Published

Hello, Im creating a thread for those who are applying to National University SD cohort 39 starting july 2014. I figured we can all post our experience through this process of applying.

I know, the waiting is killing me :nailbiting: I thought I was the only one that check this blog and my student portal 5 times a day, thank goodness I'm not alone.

Thanks, that what i figured but when my advisor dropped me from my current class & told me SPN340a I just did wouldn't count I was confused. But he emailed me today informing me he was incorrect

Does anyone know what the last testing day was or are they still doing test & essays

I think the last date of testing/essays was Friday, January 31, 2014.

jennaready86,

This is your second time applying for the program, right? Were you an alternate for Cohort 36?

If you were an alternate, would you tell me how many alternates there were?

I asked my counselor, but he won't give me any information about alternates;-(

Thank you so much and good luck:)

Yes, this is my second time applying and probably my last. I was not an alternate for cohort 38, I am not sure how many there are. Congrats on getting into the program last cohort :) That is a huge accoplishment!

jennaready86,

Thank you so much for your response;-) Good luck to you and everybody here:up:

Hello, Cohort 39;-)

I hope everyone here is going to get accepted:yes:

I was accepted as an alternate for cohort 38.

Does anyone know how many alternates there are??

Good luck everyone

Hi applepeach :)

So you were an alternate and then oficially got in to the April cohort? Congrats! How long did you have to wait to find out that you were accepted? I think they usually have about 10 alternates per cohort.

]dianasv91,

I am sorry for confusion. I am still an alternate for the April cohort. I won't find out whether I get in or not until the orientation day. I asked my counselor how many alternates they are and what number I am on the list, but he couldn't give out any information. This is very frustrating:( So there are 10 alternates per cohort... That's a lot....Thanks for your information:)

Good luck apple peach, I hope you get in. Having to wait that long would kill me.

Hi all,

Glad to see this thread for Cohort 39. I took my essay and test on Jan 13, 2014, and is looking forward to the results so I'd stop worrying night and day whether I got in or not. Good luck to all!

Welcome to the thread… Ya we've all been waiting patiently to hear results. I wish we could at least know what the average is without the essay.
