Hello, Im creating a thread for those who are applying to National University SD cohort 39 starting july 2014. I figured we can all post our experience through this process of applying.
OMG I would be dyyyiiing of anxiety if I were you. I think there's still huge hope for you though, so you should stay positive. I know a nurse who was an alternate and they let her know she was accepted at the last minute. When is orientation? I hope you get in!Were you able to apply to cohort 39 even though you were an alternate for 38, or how does that work?
kris1022,
Thank you very much! Best luck to you too:yes:
dianasv91,
Thank you! I am so worried, but yes I need to stay positive:sarcastic:
I couldn't apply to cohort 39, because I didn't want to give away my alternate seat from cohort 38.
If I don't get into cohort 38, I can reapply to cohort 40.
It sucks that I can't reapply to cohort 39 just because I am an alternate for cohort 38.
The orientation is on March 4th. I am soooo nervous:arghh:
I hope you are going to hear good news soon;)
I called RB nursing front desk and talked to a gentlemen about it last week. It wasn't JJ though... The front desk guy told me that grading the essays takes some time, since two different people read each essay, and then they are given an averaged grade. He told me that it would be 2-3 months from applying. Going off his quote that sounds like the earliest would be march 16, latest April 16. BUT someone did say they talked to JJ and he said we would know sooner than that.
I wish it was today!!!
