Has anyone had any luck with applying at National University for their nursing program? I applied back in Oct 06 and have been waiting to hear from them. They are supposed to notify in 3 months. I have called and called and written email upon emails with no response really. Please, if anyone has applied and received some sort of letter, I would greatly appreciate your reply.
Thanks
Hey Hiphippo,
I was just wondering what your pre-req GPA , TEAS score and general GPA was? Im assuming you already heard if you got into the program, I think I read a post earlier that you were waiting to hear. I turned in my application a couple of weeks ago for the October 2010 cohort so I am just waiting now I guess!
Hello tutubalu,
I did get but I wasn't accepted the first time. My prereq gpa 3.0 I don't know what myceeg gpa is. I retook the teas and got an 87. I haven't asked yet what my essay score was. It took like a month or month and a half to hear from them after u take ur teas n essay. Good luck!
Hi Expharmagirl,I'm in the same boat as you, I'm waiting to hear about the October 2010 cohort. I received an email about the application being in the review process and I am waiting on a TEAS test date and essay date. How far along are you?
Hi tutubalu! I have taken the TEAS/Essay, just waiting for that acceptance for July 2010! It takes a long time for everything. I know people that didn't get notified of TEAS dates until right before the last 2 dates, so start reviewing anyway. We were told we would hear of our acceptance status the last week of Feb or first week of March, which makes us ineligible to reapply for the October 2010 cohort if we don't get in for July, we would have to wait until the next one. My grades/TEAS were pretty high, I don't see why I won't get in, but still, that sucks! They have 1 person doing EVERYTHING there. That's why it is taking so long! I hope you hear something soon!
January and July cohorts are typically "night" and April and October are typically "day". This only applies to theory and can always change... My pediatric theory currently is from 12-5 for this rotation even though typically in other classes it has been 9-2. Clinicals can be whenever and wherever so you really gotta be flexible. Hope that helps, good luck getting in!
