National University San Diego

Has anyone had any luck with applying at National University for their nursing program? I applied back in Oct 06 and have been waiting to hear from them. They are supposed to notify in 3 months. I have called and called and written email upon emails with no response really. :banghead: Please, if anyone has applied and received some sort of letter, I would greatly appreciate your reply.

My steth is called a "Sprague Stethescope" made by Prestige Medical (model no. 122). I got it at one stop uniform shop. i hope i'll be able to use it even though it's pink! lol:uhoh21:

Hahaha!!! LOL! danni314, you are too funny! I actually do have a big white purse, like Ashley, so what do you say if you go and buy one too, so we can all match, huh? Hahaha..well now I feel left out, I am bringing my big white purse too possibly, with a ribbon or flower pinned too it! Haha, personally I liked the holding a sign idea! ;) Sorry I haven't been writing, I thought no one was posting b/c my email was sending new posts to the junk for some reason? Anywhoo, I am relieved to read that you girls seema as nervous and overwhelmed as I am, means I am normal...those scrub tops are stupid expensive! Hey any idea what food will be provided, in the email it said "meal will be provided"? Just curious, hope you guys get this in time! TOMORROW!!!! Ahhhh!

good to have you back...I just emailed you with my info. Hey, it says the orientation will include "preliminary testing". What is that? Does anyone know?

No idea, maybe it is info about the teas test? Many programs are requiring that, I took it for the SWC program. Speaking of which, I just got my acceptance letter in the mail from them...so much for that. First I couldn't get into any schools and now i have a choice!?

hey girls! It's funny cause I e-mailed them about a month ago asking what the preliminary testing is and this is what she said:

"As far as the testing that occurs, it is nothing you can study for and nothing to stress about. It is only to see your learning ability and styles going in to the program, and then you take a similar exam when you graduate to show progression."

ps - we are gonna look awesome with all the big white purses, HAHA!!!

It sounds funny today but I'm sure we won't be laughing tomorrow.... :):):) I remember almost nothing about anatomy / physio - it's been a while... at least you are in your CNA course...

yeah i am learning a bit from this class but mostly it's just spending my clinical days at a nursing home changing diapers, brushing dentures, and giving bed baths....lol....
