National University San Diego Cohort 69

Published

First off, I'm astounded by the cohort number I'm hoping to get into, LOL. The application deadline is November 12, 2021 with the program start date in April 2022. After browsing previous cohort pages here, I'm a liiiittle nervous.

Does anyone know if you can be in-progress for pre-reqs at the time of application? My final pre-req ends in December, a month after the application deadline.

Hi everyone, I've been accepted into Cohort 69. Excited to meet all of you!

Hi everyone,

I declined my offer. Hope that will vacant a spot for someone who needs it! Good luck everyone!

Hi! Do you mind me asking why you decided to decline and what your stats were?

Hi

Not at all. Because I’m going to Loma Linda University for the BSN program. And my stats are 3.7 GPA; 94 TEAS

For those who are getting their BSN generic entry, does anyone planning to take the corequisites before April?

Hi Paulina!

I messaged a student from the last cohort and she said most students take them during the program. She said that NU allows us to take up to 2 classes per month so I'm highly considering this option. But in a way, I also see it as an advantage to take those corequisites now so that we won't be overwhelmed with even more courseload during the actual program. I also don't really want to take them after the program as my biggest priority then would be to study for the NCLEX.

Which option do you think would best suit you?

Hi Buleley,

Thank you for your response. I'm considering taken 2 corequisite classes before April.

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone know about financial aid application for our upcoming nursing program? I sent an email to the Nursing Department, but will probably won't hear response back after holiday break.

Happy Holidays!

Hi everyone! I was searching on FB if anyone made a group for our cohort yet and it looks like no one has LOL.

I went ahead and created a group listed as: “National University SD Cohort 69”. Please let me know if you can’t see it. I’m barely on FB and have never made a group before haha.

Hi I am applying to National University's BSN program and I was wondering if anyone knows if theres an online community college or another school you can take the co-requisites to graduate for the "340A-spanish workplace and Spanish 341- Cross-Cultural" courses? or are they only offered at NU?

*Also does anyone know if you need to have the 2 Spanish classes complete in order to sit for the NCLEX? or its just to graduate?

thanks in advance
