National University LVN-to-BSN 2019 Cohort 11

Published

Hi! My name is Janice and I applied for the LVN to BSN program at National University in August and just got my test date for the TEAS and essay. I wanted to start a thread so we can all talk and bounce ideas off each other. My test date is September 17th and I'm super nervous! I've got two study guides for the TEAS and I'm starting to study now.....ugggggh. (should have started sooner!) I also contacted the writing department last week and will do a few practice essays to prepare. Please comment if you have applied....let's chat!

Same to you. Did they happen to tell you how long we would actually have to wait for results? I can't wait 2 weeks!

They told me within the week to 10 days. Did you interview today or yesterday?

Yesterday. I was interviewed by 2 ladies, but I can't remember their names. They asked my 5 questions and told me I had 15 minutes.. it is all a blur now. But I think it went well

How about you?

I also think it went well. I hope i did lol. They said it'll take 10 days.

I interviewed yesterday as well, I think I did ok as well lol. The times being pushed back made me even more nervous lol. I am hoping we find out sooner then the 10 days.

Did they give you an idea of how your interview went?

I will be checking my email obsessively for the next ten days. Do you guys happen to know how many people actually interviewed? When I was there, someone didn't show up..

I interviewed yesterday. They said 25 applicants will get accepted. That's not bad.

They stated I had a lot of leadership skills and skill set based on my resume. I also handed in 3 letters of recommendation. But they said hope to see you in February, not sure if they said that to everyone lol. But they did not say neither here nor there on how well I did.

A person I have been in contact with from the Nursing department said thye offered just under 40 interviews for the 20 seats.

They didn't give me a hint, but they did say they were impressed with my skill set and my resume in general, so hopefully that's a good sign.

I asked my advisor about the actual # of interviews and she didn't know. Brittany, you have a good contact lol

She also said that she hopes to see me in feb. I thought perhaps I did really well lol but they probably said that to all of us.
