National University Cohort 64

Published

Hi everyone,

I thought I'd start a thread since I hadn't seen one yet.

I plan on applying for the May application date, however I need to retake the TEAS exam. With all testing centers being closed right now, does anyone have any insight as to how/where I can retake the exam? I've heard some places may provide remote testing, but nothing for certain.

Thanks

How does everyone feel about the application process?

I'm nervous, but will see how it goes.

I really like their application process. I like that they look at the TEAS and your science and math grades only, instead of doing a points system like the public schools in the area do.

Did everyone on here apply?

I am!

Has everyone already sent in their TEAS? I took mine yesterday and don't feel confident about it. I might retake in June since the TEAS deadline is extended.

I took my TEAS last year so yes I already sent mine in. I would definitely retake it if you think you need to. I used the Kaplan book to study, it helped me a ton and I got an A on mine. There’s a facebook group that was helpful as well.

I need to retake mine, I just don't know how to study for it. I'm gonna start doing practices more.

They only look at your math and science GPA, as long as your cumulative is higher than a 2.75 you’re good to apply.

Dont forget the GPA is only 40% of what they look at. 40% is also the TEAS, and the last 20% is the interview. You can make up a less than perfect GPA in those areas!

@Mbdj218 Thank you for giving me encouragement to apply I really appreciate it, but since their only looking at your GPA to get an interview instead of the usual TEAS + GPA to apply, I do not think I can even get an interview as I only have a 3.0 GPA. The list of people who will get an interview will come out May 24th, and I think whoever gets to be on that list will be the only ones who can turn in their TEAS and compete to get in for cohort 64. This is just my guess that can happen for this cohort. Correct me if I'm wrong I'm open to other ideas guys.

I'm on the same page as you. I have a 3.2 GPA. However, I'm kind of optimistic about it.

I heard some people are applying with 2.7 so will see how it goes.
