National University Cohort 64

Published

Hi everyone,

I thought I'd start a thread since I hadn't seen one yet.

I plan on applying for the May application date, however I need to retake the TEAS exam. With all testing centers being closed right now, does anyone have any insight as to how/where I can retake the exam? I've heard some places may provide remote testing, but nothing for certain.

Thanks

Hello,

How are you? Hope all is well.

I am planning to take my TEAS in May 8. They have postponed it twice. I'm not sure if they're gonna postpone it again. I'm planning to apply for May cohort, 64.

Call ATI and see if you can take it somewhere else. For instance, I was willing to drive to Murrieta. They had an opening there, but then they opened a spot in San Diego. Hopefully that doesn't get cancelled.

Best of luck.

Hello,

I also plan on taking the TEAS exam on May 8th and will be applying for May Cohort 64.

There is still room in the May 8th and May 15th test dates. The test on the 15th is from 8 am-12 pm and ATI said the test scores would arrive to National University by 2 pm on the 15th.

Hope that helps!

Thank you both! Just made an appointment yesterday. I've heard some other states are offering online proctored exams. I wonder what will happen if they end up extending the lockdown through May ?

Hello all! I am also applying for the May deadline. I take my TEAS on May 4th. I hope National University extends their deadline... >.< If anyone hears any news from the nursing dept. please do let this thread know. Thanks

Which testing site did you guys make an appointment with? SDSU has been close and been looking for a place. Thanks

I contacted them twice and ask if their going to extend the deadline due to testing sites close and they said that for now it will remain the same. Depending on the situation they will probably let students submit TEAS test later. But that’s a bit risky in my opinion bcoz what if you don’t get the score you want.

Hi, John

University of Phoenix San Diego. I don't wanna submit my application without my TEAS. Double check ATI website and see if they have a spot available before the 15th of May. Good luck. The nursing forum is on Thursday at 2pm. We will be meeting through zoom!

@John2020

I'm taking at University of Phoenix in Murrieta on the 8th.

I have a feeling they are not going to reopen though, so I'm not sure what's going to happen. Seems like many counties are extending stay at home orders until May 15th.

@John2020 I'm taking it with the PSI testing center that the ATI website provided. Btw, if you can turn in your TEAS score later, how will that play out? Cus I'm betting on my TEAS score to get in.

@AA94 I thought University of Phoenix San Diego is closed??

@mbnurse06 I spoke with University of Phoenix San Diego less than two weeks ago and they said they'd be opening on May 3rd.

I'll update everyone if I hear that anything has changed!
