National University Cohort 53

Hello, my name is Ashley and I have recently applied to the nursing program at NU, cohort 53. I am wondering what are the past cut off points to evaluate my likelihood of being accepted, does anyone know ? Also, here is where is stand, TEAS 84% with 3.25 GPA (low I know) and waiting to take the essay portion. I would love to hear some feedback!

You think?! My GPA is a 3.8.. But the lowest TEAS test score getting accepted I've ever heard of is an 80%. I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed! I hope you get in!!

I submitted my essay today. I'm praying that this time my essay was better. Of corse I got the one question I didn't feel completely confident about. I have a good TEAS score (84%) but my GPA isn't amazing (3.174). How did everyone else do?

I took my teas on Tuesday at national and scored an 80% and have a GPA of 3.14. I hope I rocked that essay! í ½í¸‚

Hi! So I just took the teas/essay on the 17th. I got a 77 on the exam and I was supper bummed as well. I'm really hoping that I did well on the essay. I feel like I was able to formulate a well thought out and organized 5 paragraph essay. My GPA is a 3.7

I really hope it was enough!!

I'm applied to 53 as well. Gpa: 3.0 (its so bad I know!), TEAS: 89.3, Essay: 4.5/5. I spoke to my advisor and he voiced the same scores for cutoff in acceptance and alternate as was listed previously. I am at 83.6 points right now so I am right on the edge. Crossing my fingers. These next few weeks waiting are going to be killer!

Hey @britt821 how did you find out your essay score so soon? Or was that a previous score? And this wait is going to be a long one! I'm trying to stay as distracted as possible!

I have a question to the applicants who post what their GPA's are on here. Is that your cumulative gpa? Or the gpa of the core science classes national takes (anatomy/ physiology/ microbiology/biomedical stats).

GPA is the core sciences and Bio Stats. :) I feel like I'm slowly dying! I want to know!

Are we able to find out our essay grade before we know if we are accepted/denied? Does anybody know...
